GET DONE
So you can get started

A direct path to your graduation ceremony is a great choice for a lot of different learners. For motivated students, especially those who are already employed, it can streamline your school experience. Others just want to keep their options open.

And there are plenty of options.

Many iForward graduates will go on to military service or become successful entrepreneurs. Your diploma can also open the door to fire or police academy training, apprenticeships, culinary schools, colleges... the list goes on and on.

Graduation requirements

To graduate, students must earn a total of 22 credits in eight specific subject areas:

  • English: 4.0 credits
  • Math: 2.0 credits
  • Science: 2.0 credits
  • Social Studies: 3.0 credits
  • Physical Education: 1.5 credits
  • Health: 0.5 credits
  • Senior Class: 0.5 credits
  • Electives: 8.5 credits

Seniors must also successfully complete three important projects before graduation:

  • A comprehensive academic portfolio
  • A community service or culminating senior project
  • A post high school & beyond plan

Transfer your old credits

Educational credits earned for schoolwork you completed elsewhere can be applied to your iForward education (and can bring you that much closer to graduation).

Students who wish to transfer credits into iForward based on homeschool work, portfolios or coursework completed at a nonaccredited institution or other nontraditional program may petition the school to accept credits, provided they submit the appropriate documentation for administrative review.

Documentation must be submitted before August 1st of your first year attending iForward. We reserve the right to refuse transfer credits from nonaccredited institutions or homeschool experiences.
