My name is Ken Wirtz, and I am beginning my fourth year teaching Math online at iForward. I really find the online way of teaching to be enjoyable and effective. I live in Neenah, WI, in the Fox Valley. I have been married for 21 years. I have three children, two of whom have graduated high school, and a third, who is in middle school. I also became a grandpa this year, which is pretty cool.
In my spare time, I attend a lot of soccer and hockey games that my son plays. Beyond that, I enjoy reading, being active outdoors, working with computers, and watching spectator sports. I generally have access to one pair of Packers tickets per year, and that brings me much enjoyment (as long as they win, of course).
Over the years, I have come to really enjoy teaching Geometry, because it really helps develop logic skills. Geometry begins with very simple concepts and builds into a very robust branch of Mathematics. I also teach (or have taught) Algebra 1 and 2, Pre-Calculus, and Math Lab.
