Hello! I am Mrs. Royes and I am so excited to join this iForward learning community! I currently live in West Bend with my husband, BJ. We have two grown boys, a daughter-in-law, and two grandchildren who all live in Rice Lake! I graduated from Purdue University with a Secondary Education degree, Marian University with an Elementary Education degree, and Cardinal Stritch University with a Master’s of Science in Educational Leadership. I have worked with students ranging from PreK all the way to seniors in college. In my free time, I relish spending time with our grandchildren, relaxing at our cottage and on the boat, and exercising with friends. Throughout my career, I have taught in elementary school, middle school, high school, and at the university level for the School of Education. I am thrilled with going back to what I love most about education – teaching, and connecting with students and families. My heart’s ambition is to couple my passion for lifelong learning with truly making a difference in the lives of those I teach. Education is not preparation for life; education is life itself.
