Barry Hindt
My name is Barry Hindt and I teach drivers education and social studies classes at iForward. I gained my social studies teaching license from Concordia University in St. Paul. For over 20 years, I have taught social studies, writing, and drivers education to students in 7th-12th grade. In that time, I have coached soccer, tennis, and basketball at the junior high and high school level.  I love to read all kinds of books, especially positive psychology books and philosophy books. My family and I live in Chisago City, Minnesota and I am a proud Viking’s fan. I have five blond-haired daughters that range in age from 29 to 23. It is fun to hang out with them and my wife on the lakes and recreation areas of the Chisago Lakes area. I enjoy being on any kind of body of water in any capacity--fishing, sailing, waterskiing, or white-water rafting. My wife and I love to travel and are busy knocking off countries around the world whenever we get time off from our work schedules. Playing sports of all kinds is one of the ways that I like to spend my free time—I love to golf, play tennis and soccer, and pick-up basketball. I am very interested in helping students achieve their potential--in school and in life.
