Hello students and families! My name is Mrs. Murto and I am a full time social studies teacher here at iForward. I live in Superior WI with my husband, son, and two dogs. Together we enjoy outdoor activities like camping, going to the beach and watching my son on the soccer pitch. In my spare time, I enjoy reading in my hammock, puzzles and rock tumbling. I completed my teacher education program in Superior Wisconsin at UW – Superior. Here I majored in Broadfield Social Studies with a history emphasis and secondary education. I graduated from UWS with honors and received my Bachelors of Science degree. Currently, I am working on a Masters Degree in teaching US History and Government from Ashland University. I love being a teacher and getting to work with my students every day. And I love teaching history in particular! I look forward to sharing this love of social studies with you, my students. I hope that after taking a class with me, you too will love learning about our world and human society. Looking forward to class with you!
