Hello iForward students and families!

I’m Mrs. Waters and I'm excited to join the iForward community! 

I live in Northern Wisconsin with my husband, two dogs, three cats, and twenty-some chickens. I grew up in Minnesota and return often to visit my family. 

In my free time, I enjoy being outdoors–gardening, paddling, fishing, swimming, camping, and hiking. I also love crafting, thrifting, and reading. 

This is my 6th year teaching secondary ELA. I studied writing at Northland College and fell in love with the northwoods. After trying on a few hats in trip guiding, grant writing, journalism, and youth recreation, I married my passions and returned to school for my master's in Education. I am currently working on becoming a certified reading teacher and reading specialist.
