My name is Brenda Haag and I am excited to start this new journey with you!  I recently retired after 36 years in math education, starting at Iola-Scandinavia High School (12 years) and ending at Barron High School (24 years).  I was married for 32 years, but lost my husband unexpectedly in 2020.  I have 2 children, Erin (a Physical Therapist in Minneapolis, MN) and Jordan (an Army Veteran who is currently in Flight School in Fort Worth, TX).  And I suppose I should mention my 2 pups, Zoey (a lab mix) and Paula (a terrier mix), both of whom you will hear barking once in a while!  They are stinkers, but I love them!

 

My goal this semester is obviously to teach you math, but it is also to get to know you and your needs, try to make math class enjoyable and exciting, and celebrate your successes together!  Math can sometimes be tough, but we're in this together!
